Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Cardiac Telemetry for a top Healthcare client.

This role provides clinical expertise and specialized care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or high‑acuity telemetry environment, ensuring efficient, high‑quality patient outcomes. The RN is responsible for the continuous monitoring and assessment of cardiac patients, requiring strong critical thinking and effective communication to coordinate complex care plans.

• Provide direct, specialized nursing care to an assigned patient population within the high‑acuity Cardiac Telemetry/PCU setting
• Conduct continuous monitoring and assessment of patient cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall clinical status, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and implement physician orders, adhering to strict safety protocols for efficient and high‑quality care delivery
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to manage and address acute patient conditions and potential clinical deterioration
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and update comprehensive patient care plans
• Maintain clear, concise, and thorough documentation of all nursing interventions and patient progress in the electronic health record
• Maintain service excellence and effective interpersonal communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues

• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) is required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

• Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred

• Current Florida State Registered Nurse (RN) license or appropriate compact licensure is required
• If holding a compact license, an active FL RN license must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required

• Demonstrated critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in reading/comprehending written instructions and following complex verbal instructions
• Basic personal computer (PC) skills for charting and record maintenance
