Overview
Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0919) thly/hourly rate starts at $15.00 USD per hour. This role focuses on delivering a welcoming guest experience, handling transactions, and assisting guests with store services.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
- Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
- Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
- Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
- Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
- Assist with returns following store policies and escalate to leaders as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
- Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and work in a safe manner at all times.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and related duties while complying with applicable laws (e.g., beverage laws where relevant).
- Perform all other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and team members and helping others.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, active role that requires teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
- You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
