The Stylist is responsible for providing a positive, friendly, and professional selling experience with all customers, achieving sales goals, and performing duties related to the presentation and operations of the store. S/he reports to the Store Manager in partnership with the Sales Manager. Bridal Stylists are brand ambassadors and demonstrate the values and critical success factors of the David's Bridal brand.

Responsibilities- Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person and over the phone; communicate clearly and concisely, adapting style to suit customers.
- Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a 5-Star customer experience (Appointments/Customers/Point of Sale). Use iPad tools to research and communicate information to customers.
- Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at one time; proactively address concerns and know when to escalate to leadership.
- Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles, favorites, and preparing fitting rooms.
- Build relationships with customers by understanding expectations and needs; strive to identify the perfect gown in the first three try-ons.
- Review Timeline Calendar, set future appointments, and follow up with customers.
- Promote alterations and personalization options; partner with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments; support an 80% conversion rate to Alterations appointments.
- Ensure proper measurements are taken and entered into events to assist ordering and minimize returns.
- Maintain store standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness) and report damaged equipment; uphold dress code standards.
- Offer David’s Bridal loyalty and partners program to support one-stop for life events.
- High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel, service, or specialty store environment preferred.
- Experience with computerized POS systems preferred.
