Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to support inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas. This role involves inventory accuracy, merchandising setup and maintenance, and executing pick, pack, and ship fulfillment tasks as needed. The position supports guest service, storefront operations, and adherence to safety and compliance policies.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage guests to solve their specific needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Restock shelves, organize the backroom, and set up merchandise and promotional signage for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment if certified, and perform price changes, merchandise setup, and inventory checks as directed.
• Learn operational procedures related to stock levels, inventory management, and store profitability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available store-wide to assist guests.
• Uphold ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.

• Enjoy interacting with guests and team members; capable of working in a fast-paced, active environment with a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times).
• Ability to handle cash operations, climb ladders, and lift/move merchandise up to 44 pounds as needed.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology equipment; strong multi-tasking and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments as required by job duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
