Merchandiser – Part‑Time

McClatchy Media is seeking a part‑time Merchandiser located in Springhill, FL (Zip 34606). This role reports to a Supervisor of Merchandising and requires reliable transportation.

• Competitive wage starting at $15/hour (commutes paid).
• Referral retention bonus after six months.

• Assigned stores serviced on designated weekdays.
• Travel up to 100% of time covering territory.

• Merchandise products by applying store and corporate standards.
• Safely replenish product and assemble shelves/racks following measurements.
• Service all stores according to schedule and seek approval before overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Communicate regularly with Supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, detail‑oriented and professional conduct.
• Adherence to company attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation and personal cell phone/tablet.
• Proficient with Word, internet and email applications.
• Employment contingent on background check, drug test and MVR clearance.

• Frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, kneeling, pushing/pulling.
• Light – up to 25 lbs.; moderate – 25–50 lbs.; heavy – over 50 lbs.
• Frequent reading, writing, performing calculations, communicating orally, reasoning and analyzing.
• Frequent exposure to excessive noise, moving machinery and temperature changes.
