Light Duty Driver – Day Shift

Guardian Fleet Services is hiring a Light Duty Tow Truck Driver for day shift. You will drive a commercial towing vehicle with a GVWR less than 25,999 lbs. and perform towing, recovery, and transport duties while maintaining compliance with DOT rules.

Sign‑On Bonuses: $1,500 (state) / $2,500 (out‑of‑state)

Shift: Day Shift

• Provide reliable, strong customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Execute interstate towing, recovery, and transport operations.
• Communicate and coordinate closely with Dispatch.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection sheets, noting mechanical issues.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, DOT rules, and regulations.
• Report mechanical concerns with trucks and trailers immediately.
• Operate software and computer systems such as Samsara, GPS, and Tow Book.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Relevant trade school or accreditation in towing, recovery, or transport.
• Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience.
• Basic mechanical skills and tool use.

Requires lifting, crawling, pulling, bending and reaching; use of hands; outdoor work in extreme temperatures. Must lift over 50 lbs. No lifting restrictions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise.
