Part-Time Worship Leader Way Church

Way Church in Spring Hill, KS is seeking a part-time Worship Leader. At Way Church, our mission is to empower and redeploy people to live the Way of Jesus, for the restoration of the world. We are formed by this rhythm:
We know Christ through His Word, experience Christ in relationship, and embody Christ to a broken world. Our Worship Leader must embody this mission not just on stage, but off it—living in alignment with the Way of Jesus and helping others encounter Him through beauty, truth, and presence.

The Worship Leader will shepherd the musical worship culture of Way Church with creativity, humility, and spiritual authority.

This leader will prepare and lead rehearsals and Sunday gatherings, while developing and discipling a team of musicians and vocalists.

They will carry the atmosphere of worship with passion and excellence—always in step with the Holy Spirit and grounded in Scripture.

• Prepare and lead one rehearsal and one Sunday gathering each weekend.
• Develop and disciple a growing team of worshippers.
• Curate Christ-centered sets that reflect the teaching and direction of Way Church.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and tech/creative volunteers.
• Model worship as a lifestyle, not a role.
• Create environments that align with Way Church’s 5 Cultural Pillars.

• A mature follower of Jesus who aligns with the vision, doctrine, and culture of Way Church
• Strong vocal leadership with ability to play guitar or keys preferred
• Able to build and lead a team of volunteers
• Skilled in planning, communicating, and collaborating
• Comfortable with Planning Center and open to learning new tech/AI tools
• Committed to spiritual growth and personal integrity both on and off stage

Compensation: $500 per weekend (includes rehearsal plus Sunday Gathering.
