Trans Services Inc is a subsidiary of USMMG and is hiring drivers for the Kansas City, KS;
Spring Hill, KS; and St. Joseph, MO locations.

• Possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL
• Have a Hazard‑Mat endorsement or be willing to obtain one within 90 days
• Meet I‑9 requirements
• Maintain a safe and clean MVR with no major convictions
• Have 24 months verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience within the previous 36 months
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations
• Ability to read, speak, and write English in accordance with DOT regulations
• Ability to perform functions of job description
• 2 years experience of local drayage in and out of the Kansas City depots and rail yards
• Pass background screen, DOT drug screen (no prior positive or controlled‑substance tests, no alcohol or controlled‑substance refusals), and DOT physical examination with a minimum expiration of one year
• Pass company road test
• Interpersonal skills with ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
• Proficient with smartphones

• Operate a semi‑truck according to all applicable state and federal transportation laws
• Pick‑up and deliver ocean containers; verify loads/empties for accuracy and deliver as instructed
• Maintain truck maintenance logs; comply with all safe work practices and policies at all times; report damage, defects, accidents, and traffic violations to manager via DVIR and pre‑trip inspection on tractors
• Complete and verify accuracy of dispatch manifest to be turned in daily

• Local drivers get paid $28.75 per hour; local $0.55 per mile over 100 miles
