Job Overview
Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent Support Staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector. Our client, an established Orthopaedic Practice in Spring Hill is actively seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Secretary to join their supportive team. This is a full-time position for one Lower Limb Specialist Surgeon. The days will be Monday to Friday inclusive. The hours will be 8.30am-5.00pm.
A car park is provided on site. An RDO per fortnight is also available.
- Medical Receptionists experience in a Specialist – surgical practice highly regarded
- Orthopaedic experience would be helpful but not essential (will also consider candidates with Allied Health or General Practice experience seeking new skills)
- Patient record management (scanning etc)
- Use of Medical Software and patient billing processing (Genie ideal)
- Medical Typing duties are generally outsourced but the occasional letter may be required
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Minimum 2 years in a Medical Receptionist/Secretarial role
- Ability to work in a supportive team environment
- High level communication skills
- Understanding of Medical Practice day to day running and willingness to support other team members with running clinics
Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.30am-5.00pm. An RDO per fortnight.
Commencement DateAs soon as possible.
Salary$38-43 +/hr Super permanent (Negotiable). Parking provided onsite.
