On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T2362) s role is On-Demand, with a flexible schedule and shifts posted by store leaders. The position involves guest service, cashier responsibilities, and knowledge of store offerings to assist guests and drive loyalty and satisfaction.

• Deliver the guest service experience by greeting guests, assisting with their needs, and solving issues in a welcoming manner.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and company practices.
• Support guest services including order pick up, drive up, registry, and related services; promote and explain Target loyalty programs and app features.
• Maintain store cleanliness and a safe, efficient work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Assist with cash register operations and cash office processes as needed; support de-escalation of guest situations per Target policies.
• Work with leaders to ensure coverage and respond to store needs; meet shift requirements and attendance expectations.

• Enjoy interacting with guests and fellow team members; able to thrive in a fast-moving, active environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Effective communication, attentiveness to guests, multi-tasking, and ability to use technology and handheld scanners.
• Willingness to educate guests about products, services, and benefits; knowledge of Target app and Wallet features is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed (up to 44 pounds on occasion) and to work in varying temperatures.
• Commitment to pick up and work shifts; failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination.
