About the RoleRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Opal Autism Centers. The position is full-time, center-based, located at 345 Devers Street, Suite 101 & 102 Fayetteville, NC 28303. As an RBT you will deliver compassionate, high‑quality ABA therapy, implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and engage families to support their understanding and involvement in therapy. The role emphasizes professional development with training and ethical behavior analysis support.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
- Collect data on client behaviors and progress
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development
- Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies
- Assist in developing educational materials and resources
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis
- Active RBT certification or a 40‑hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB or work experience as a BT in ABA
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
- Capability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
- Desire for ongoing professional development and training
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
- Comfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting
