Position Overview

Shri Hotels is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our dual-brand, select service properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. This position is responsible for overall operations, financial performance, and guest satisfaction of the two brands under their management.

Choice Hotels brand experience is an plus.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of both hotel brands to ensure efficiency and adherence to brand standards.
Implement policies and procedures to maintain quality service and operational consistency.
Monitor hotel inventory, rates, and occupancy to maximize financial performance.

Financial Oversight:

Develop and manage operational budgets for each hotel.
Analyze financial data to develop strategies to improve financial performance and achieve revenue targets.
Conduct regular financial reporting to stakeholders and make data‑driven decisions.

Guest

Experience:

Uphold a high standard of customer service throughout the properties.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally and efficiently.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance service offerings.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and motivate a team of hospitality professionals.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and personal development.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.

Marketing and Sales:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.
Oversee sales initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive business to the hotels.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and key stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Implement and monitor safety and security protocols to protect guests and staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel management, with experience in multi‑brand or dual‑brand properties a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial plans.
Proficient in hotel management software and technology.
