Quality Technician | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of manufactured products and components.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, create inspection reports, and maintain quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment and disposition.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Support the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.

• High school diploma or GED;
  Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting blueprints/technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data entry and basic analysis).
• Ability to identify non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis.

• Experience with calibration of measurement equipment.
• Proficiency with CMM programming or operation software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Internal Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
