Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA Day Shift

Position: Union position
Pay: $19.72 per hour
Sign-on bonus: $3,500
Schedule: Day shift

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to residents during the day shift. The CNA will assist with daily care needs while working collaboratively with nursing staff to promote residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide support with meals and hydration according to residents’ care plans.
• Observe residents’ well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Respond to resident requests and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow infection prevention, privacy, safety, and facility procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Current New York State CNA certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, attentive, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Ability to follow care plans, instructions, and established procedures.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
