What You'll Do:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty trucks

Troubleshoot and diagnose engine, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and aftertreatment issues to ensure optimal performance and safety

Conduct inspections and tests to proactively identify potential issues before they escalate

Maintain accurate and timely records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities

Respond to service calls for both shop and field repairs

Collaborate with team members to improve fleet reliability and reduce downtime

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in diesel engine and truck technology

Follow all OSHA and DOT safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty truck technician

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record / clear Motor Vehicle Record - REQUIRED Strong understanding of diesel engines and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Experience with diagnostic software and laptop-based troubleshooting

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities

Capable of working independently as well as part of a team Ability to pass background, physical, and drug screening

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

OEM certifications (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo/Mack, Allison, etc.)ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certificationsDOT annual inspection qualifiedCDL is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
