Essential Utilities, Inc. is a publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas provider serving 5.5 million people across 10 states. Aqua is a brand providing water and wastewater services. This position is based in the Essential Utilities Headquarters in Spring, TX.

• Build and use hydraulic models to analyze water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Lead technical modeling analyses and deliverables.
• Coordinate planning studies for capital improvement projects.
• Conduct system capacity evaluations and assess deficiencies.
• Assist in engineering due diligence for acquisitions.
• Review and apply new technologies to improve water quality or service.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide technical resource on capital planning, demand projection, transmission and distribution adequacy, hydraulic modeling, water conservation.
• Stay current on trends and advancements.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Perform other assignments as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field;
  Master’s preferred.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to achieve within 12 months of hire.
• 0-4 years of professional experience in water or wastewater engineering.
• Experience with field testing, data collection, and master planning for distribution and sewer systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with modeling software (Water Gems, Water
  
  CAD, EPAet, Info Works/Infowater, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Team player.

• Support work: up to 20% travel.
• Sedentary work, with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
