Location: Tarsco – Spring, TX (Remote option available for highly qualified candidates)
Role Overview
The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and technical oversight of foundation systems used in large-scale industrial storage and steel structure applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, experience with industry standards, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and geotechnical partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of shallow and deep concrete foundations for storage tanks, ASME pressure vessels and other steel structures.
- Review and interpret soil reports and interact with customers and geotechnical companies.
- Provide foundation design calculations, specifications, and field support.
- Coordinate work with sales, estimating, project management, detail designers and foundation subcontractors.
Qualifications and
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Structural Engineering and/or Civil Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited school.
- Experience in civil structural engineering / foundation engineering.
- Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
- Familiar with ACI / ASTM / API Codes and Standards.
- Must have experience with storage tank and pressure vessel foundations.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
