FPGA Engineer
Join Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an FPGA Engineer located in Houston, Texas. This role is onsite, working from the HPE office.

Responsibilities- Lead multiple project teams of electrical engineers and internal/outside partners through all phases of FPGA hardware design, validation, tooling, and testing.
- Manage and expand relationships with internal and external development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality.
- Provide domain‑specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross‑organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organization.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Typically 6‑10 years of experience in FPGA design and electrical hardware development.
- Proficiency with electrical design tools and software packages.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions.
- Designing and integrating electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms into overall architecture.
- Evaluating and proposing forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
