Windchill Architect

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Windchill Architect to join their build and development team. This person will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of Windchill on Linux and Windows. They will configure and support Windchill applications within a cluster environment, using a file utility to load different business objects in Windchill. Daily operations include Build and Release Management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

They will work with a vendor to troubleshoot issues, implement patches, and perform system upgrades. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, thrive in a team environment, and pay strong attention to detail. This role is on-site in Houston (local to Houston) with a requirement to be on-site 3 days a week.

$75.00/hr - $100.00/hr

• 6+ years of experience developing in Windchill PLM Systems (Version 12.0 or higher)
• 6+ years of experience within CI & Build Pipeline Development
• 6+ years of experience writing and editing complex SQL/PL SQL queries
• Installation of the newest versions of Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), CREO, Solr, and CAD Tools
• Experience working within Oracle Databases, Apache, Web Logic, Linux, and Windows Systems
• 3+ years of experience in Shell Scripting
• Experience working within a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
• Bachelor's degree

• Marine or offshore experience

Install, configure, and support Windchill on Linux and Windows; configure and support Windchill applications in a cluster environment; use file utilities to load different business objects in Windchill. Manage build and release processes, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches as needed. Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and upgrades. Work independently in a Windchill solo environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
