Senior Financial Analyst – Kraton Corporation, The Woodlands, Texas.
As a key member of the Finance Team, you will provide financial support to Kraton’s management teams by ensuring best‑in‑class financial processes and reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and partnering with commercial and operating teams to derive shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities- Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies.
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision‑making.
- Liaise directly with Segment Controllers for financial insight on both current period analytics and forecast builds.
- Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for the Kraton Leadership Team.
- Assist Director, Corporate Finance in management of corporate financial forecasting model.
- Key contributor to the preparation of quarterly Board of Director presentations.
- Key contributor to the preparation of quarterly and annual public filings.
- Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting policies and practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and work in a challenging fast‑paced environment.
- SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
- Experience with BPC a plus.
- Strong financial analysis and cost accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly automated environment and translate data into meaningful business information.
- Effective communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in English.
- Solid judgment and decision‑making skills.
- Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
- Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required.
