Paramedic – Plasma Center - English/Spanish Speaking

Job SummaryAs a Paramedic – Plasma Center, you will support plasma collection operations, determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review laboratory results, and provide medical support under the guidance of the Center Manager and Physician.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, coordinate with the Center Physician, and transport donors to emergency care facilities.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues and provide guidance on donor safety and eligibility.
- Support employee vaccination programs, including Hepatitis B and seasonal flu.
- Manage employee incidents, determine further evaluation needed by occupational health/ER, and reference EHS guidance.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Current license or certification to practice in the state where responsibilities are assigned: EMT-Paramedic.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- State-mandated basic IV therapy certification.
- Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
