An optometry practice is seeking a part-time front desk receptionist
. We desire a motivated, quick learner with a go-getter attitude
. The ideal candidate should be personable, dependable, honest, efficient, and customer service oriented. Ability to handle constructive criticism is essential.

This part-time position requires availability to work Monday through Saturday
, totaling 30-35 hours per week
. Working on Saturdays is a requirement
.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phone calls

Scheduling appointments

Verifying and claiming insurance

Preparing patients and performing preliminary exams

Using and entering data into an EMR (electronic medical record system), including exam information, demographics, paperwork, and appointments

Maintaining a clean and tidy office environment

Providing excellent customer service

Communicating clearly and concisely

Demonstrating attention to detail

Taking initiative

Experience is not required; candidate must be a quick learner.

Pay rate is $10.00 per hour
, negotiable based on experience.
