Full-Time Medical Assistant | Shenandoah, TX
Internal Healing and Wellness MD is growing! We’re seeking a dependable, organized, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our practice, which combines primary care and functional medicine with personalized, compassionate care.
What you’ll do:- Room patients, obtain vitals, and update medical histories.
- Prepare exam rooms and support providers during visits.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as trained and appropriate.
- Document in the EMR and assist with patient follow-up.
- Support scheduling, patient calls, check-in/check-out, and payment collection.
Medical office experience, CMA/RMA certification, and phlebotomy/injection experience are preferred. Athenahealth or Cerbo experience is a plus. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are essential.
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
10 days of paid time off
