Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior
Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to support our data-driven decision-making processes. The Senior BI Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, dashboards, and reports. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across departments to transform business needs into insightful data products.

• Develop and maintain BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouses.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Create and maintain documentation related to BI systems, data models, and reporting processes.
• Provide end-user training and support on BI tools and self-service analytics.
• Monitor BI tools performance and troubleshoot data issues.
• Proficient with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query).
• Understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Apache Nifi).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
