** Principal Network Technologist / Network Architect

Position Overview This opportunity is on-site in Spring, TX.We are seeking a highly experienced
** Principal Network Technologist
** to serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting complex business and industrial network environments.

This is a senior-level, hands-on technical leadership role focused on how enterprise and industrial networks are
** architected, designed, operated, secured, optimized, and automated**. The ideal candidate brings deep networking expertise across multiple technical areas and is comfortable solving complex problems, evaluating emerging technologies, and influencing long-term technology strategy.

This individual will work closely with internal customers, technical teams, partners, and technology vendors to translate business needs into scalable and reliable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Architect, design, implement, operate, optimize, and troubleshoot
** complex enterprise and industrial networks**.
* Apply deep knowledge of
** network technologies, routing protocols, network security, traffic flows, and network operations**.
* Analyze network logs, traffic patterns, and packet/data captures to identify issues and perform
** event correlation and root-cause analysis**.
* Design scalable end-to-end network solutions based on technical and business requirements.
* Gather technical requirements from customers and stakeholders and translate them into practical network designs and business solutions.
* Evaluate networking technologies, platforms, tools, and emerging solutions to determine their potential value to the organization.
* Partner with customers, engineering teams, vendors, and technology partners to deliver complex network initiatives.
* Identify opportunities to improve network operations through
** orchestration, automation, and optimization**.
* Serve as a recognized
** Subject Matter Expert (SME)
** across multiple networking focus areas.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and other technology professionals, helping develop their technical capabilities.
* Stay current on networking trends and emerging technologies through participation in industry and technical communities.
* Provide technical insight that can help influence long-term technology strategy, talent development, and strategic vendor partnerships.

* Network routing protocols
* Network security
* Network troubleshooting and performance optimization
* Packet captures and traffic-flow analysis

* Network architecture and solution design
* Technology/vendor evaluation
* Technical requirements gathering
* Working directly with customers and business stakeholders
* Technical leadership and mentoring
