Laboratory Technician Job Summary

This role operates on a dedicated 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and offering a shift differential for your commitment.

- Synthesize oligonucleotides using various synthesizer platforms, including modification injections and conjugations as needed.
- Execute cleavage and deprotection processes in various conditions and perform purification using various methods and equipment.
- Quantify and perform concentration normalization, including liquid handling using both manual and automated platforms.
- Manage production setup, including preparing reagents, stocking materials, labeling, capping, and performing custom kitting.
- Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to create production batches, determine routes, and track each manufacturing step.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols by wearing appropriate PPE, disposing of hazardous materials properly, and following all safety guidelines (SOPs).
- Maintain quality by accurately following SOPs, inspecting products, completing quality assurance records, and performing routine equipment checks.
- Ability to work 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm
- High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of laboratory experience OR a 2-year degree with 6 months of laboratory experience.
- Demonstrated detail orientation and accuracy in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with oligonucleotide synthesis, cleavage, or purification techniques.
- Familiarity with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Experience in a regulated or high-volume manufacturing lab setting.
