Skilled - CNC Machinist

Wage: $26.00-$33.00/hour

Shift: 12-Hour Days

Hours:

5:00pm-5:00am (Monday-Sunday, Every Other Weekend Off) Our client in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support the machining of precision fiberglass fittings and components.

• Machine fiberglass fittings, including male and female adapters and other precision components
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines
• Retrieve, modify, and write NC programs for production and custom parts
• Program and edit G-code as required
• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling and offsets
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications
• Determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and tape measures
• Maintain adequate supplies of machine consumables
• Follow all quality, environmental, safety, and OSHA requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• CNC machining experience with manual and/or CNC machines
• Haas CNC experience
• G-code programming experience
• Proven setup experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances
• Ability to read calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
• Willingness to work overnight shifts with heavy overtime
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Relevant machining experience required
• Ability to frequently stand and walk
• Ability to frequently use hands for precision work
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Good hand-eye coordination
