Oversee the direction and day‑to‑day activities associated with brand and product marketing, advertising and initiatives. Serve as a lead to our creative and strategy agency partners and as manager for paid advertising campaigns, playing a significant role in strategic campaign development.
What You Will Do- Manager of planning and implementation of high‑value end‑to‑end, brand, product and employer advertising campaigns
- Brand and product marketing support for global and internal communications teams, applying advertising best practices to their communications plans
- Lead collaborator with agency partners to ensure advertising creative and messaging aligns with corporate and campaign strategies and is optimized for performance and relevance by channel, supporting business outcomes and associated KPIs
- Work with integrated communications and business line stakeholders to ensure support for on‑going key priorities and communication strategies, providing meaningful exposure to key EM leadership
- Proactively contribute to the internal development of the marketing function and establish best practices and framework for future growth
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in marketing and advertising, generating new ideas and playing a key role in redefining and modernizing our overall marketing approach
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, advertising, digital or multimedia, communications or strategy (preferred)
- Strong project management skills with creative design ability to manage large, complex, quick‑turn projects
- Experience in a paid media and advertising support function, brand manager or equivalent in‑house or agency environment
- Knowledge of digital analytics reporting
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced digital and social communication environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, building strong internal and external relationships
- Enthusiasm for marketing and communications in the B2B space
- Familiarity and interest in issues related to energy, sustainability, corporate citizenship and government relations
- Background in oil and gas and/or B2B marketing, global or large‑scale experience
- Knowledge of business processes, procedures and guidelines
- Brand management and marketing experience
- Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills
- Collaboration skills – encouraging cooperation across stakeholders to enhance decision making
- Ability to work effectively across teams, cultures and levels of the organization
- Attention to detail – integrating data into usable formats and developing options for tackling issues
- Familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability communications
- Familiarity with brand marketing and strategy, and/or brand product marketing
