Position Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner in our urgent care setting, you will play a crucial role in delivering immediate care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for urgent care patients.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in urgent care.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP program) from an accredited institution.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an urgent care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
