Our Neuro Spine Med Surg unit has 24 beds with a 1:4‑5 nurse to patient ratio. Patient types include stroke, neuro surgical (spinal fusions), biopsies, traumatic falls, head bleeds, craniotomies, seizure patients. This is a very fast‑paced unit with quick patient turnover.

• From a Level 1 trauma center to the #2 rehabilitation hospital in the country, to our partnership with the Houston Rockets, you can practice with top professionals.

• At least 6 months of RN experience in Neuro Med/Surg.
• Acute care bedside experience required.
• BSN preferred because of Magnet status.
• 4‑6 week training/orientation depending on individual.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
  Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or unit requirements.
