Groomer

We are seeking a trained and experienced dog groomer at The Dog Stop® in Spring, TX. The groomer will provide professional grooming services, offering advice to pet parents and exceeding their expectations. Customer service and time‑management experience are essential. Knowledge of the dog care industry, a positive attitude, dedication, and a love of dogs are required.

Part‑time and full‑time positions; weekend availability is required.

50% commission plus tips.

• Full nose‑to‑tail make‑overs (bath, nail trims, full body cuts) for all breeds.
• Walk‑in nail trims and gland expressions.
• Baths for dogs of all sizes.
• Develop customer relationships and explain the best cut/grooming options.
• Manage busy grooming schedules and communicate progress to receptionists and clients.
• Maintain a clean grooming room.
• Track inventory.
• Maintain grooming tools.
• At least one year of grooming experience with a wide variety of sizes and breeds of dogs.

Provide professional basic dog grooming services as requested by customers, supporting dogs’ physical, mental, social, and emotional needs according to industry standards. Use grooming instruments safely. Ensure the welfare of all dogs in the grooming area. Deliver courteous customer service. Stay bent, kneeling, lifting, and standing for long periods of time, while maintaining cleanliness of the grooming area. Build long‑term relationships with clients and recommend products and services to keep their pets healthy and happy.
