QC Manager
The Quality Control Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in aircraft maintenance and inspection. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity of Part 135 operations and compliance with FAA regulations. The Quality Control Manager will oversee records, work order reports, and forms, ensuring that no defective or unserviceable parts are installed in any components released by the operator.
Responsibilities- Perform inspections and audits as required.
- Review Airworthiness Directives for applicability and compliance.
- Ensure tasks are accomplished following approved manufacturer’s instructions and approved tech data.
- Ensure all incoming parts and materials pass company inspection criteria.
- Ensure inspection and stockroom personnel are trained, proficient, qualified, and authorized to perform assigned tasks.
- Maintain calibrated tooling used in maintenance activities, ensuring it is in suitable condition and calibrated within established time frames.
- Manage the stockroom shelf‑life program.
- Administer RII (Line Maintenance Authorization) training and perform RII inspections as required.
- Monitor all aircraft maintenance records and forms to ensure proper completion of entries.
- Ensure compliance with approved maintenance programs and applicable CFRs during inspections and repairs.
- Update daily airframe and engine utilization in the company tracking system.
- Update engine trend data in the company tracking system.
- Conduct maintenance record retrieval and research for the Director.
- File and maintain aircraft records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
- 2-5 years of technical experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control, preferably within a Part 135 environment.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certificate required.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and aviation maintenance tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaborative skills. Able to work well in a small team.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
- Must pass screening and airport screening.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based at Hooks airport in Tomball, working a day shift in a salaried role.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Spring, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
