Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager who will assist with the daily operations of the restaurant. The position focuses on delivering friendly, personalized service with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment.
We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic team player to join our team. The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides exceptional guest service and support while working with the District Manager and other team members to maintain operational standards and procedures.
Here’s What You Will Be DoingAs an integral member of the Operations Team, this position is responsible for supporting the General Manager in managing the restaurant’s daily operations, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing restaurant’s daily operations
- Maintaining day-to-day financial controls
- Creating and managing staff schedules
- Interviewing, hiring, training and onboarding team members
- Coaching, counseling, developing staff, and managing team relations
- Ensuring proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
- Ensuring health and safety inspections and standards are met
- Setting the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant
- Minimum 1 year of Assistant Manager experience (high-volume food service concepts preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and access to private transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent and required state/federal documents
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, results-oriented and customer-service focused
- Support the General Manager in managing the restaurant’s daily operations
- Maintain daily financial controls
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Interview, hire, train and orientate team
- Oversee coaching, counseling, and development of staff
- Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
- Ensure health and safety standards are met
- Set the tone for a welcoming environment in the restaurant
