Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated restaurant dishwasher in a fine dining restaurant that you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to support the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and ready for use.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager.
• Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef.

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
