Job Overview

Entry level sales position supporting the DIY automotive business and achieving sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store inventory familiarity, and the ability to source parts internally and externally. It may be part‑time or full‑time; fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience during customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet its sales targets.
  • Deliver DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper blade replacement.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock organization.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
  • Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock replenishment.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

  • 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Store Driver Overview

Entry level store position supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. Responsibilities include deliveries, inventory support, and clean‑up. Part‑time or full‑time; fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities for Store Driver
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer.
  • Daily collection of credit accounts.

Physical Demands

The employee must predominantly walk or stand, be able to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work

Environment

Work is usually inside; occasionally outside with exposure to weather conditions while performing tasks such as battery and wiper blade installation. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
