With moderate supervision, the Retail Keyholder assists the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. They provide outstanding guest service experiences within a sales culture that utilizes elements of Game Stop's Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide best-in-class guest service: promptly greet guests, respond to guest questions/concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, assist guests in meeting their video gaming needs, inform guests about special promotions and the trade-in program, recommend additional items as appropriate, apply all selling behaviors during each transaction, and express gratitude to every guest for choosing Game Stop.
- Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, and nurture guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
- Process guest purchases and returns accurately via the Point-of-Sale (POS) computer system, ensuring top-notch guest service.
- Address guest comments or questions in person or on the phone, answering phone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally to ensure every guest receives top-notch guest service.
- Promote Game Stop’s unique guest benefits, such as the new title reservations program and the Pro Rewards guest loyalty program.
- Ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
- Complete Omni-Channel orders daily.
- Safeguard company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.
- Conduct store inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and move products from the stock room to the front of the store.
- Support store management in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative and operational duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
- Video game knowledge preferred.

Full-time store positions at Game Stop are eligible to participate in incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance. Positions at Game Stop may also be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentives.
Compensation: $8.50 - $11.25
