In The Organization

Business Development Representatives are the hunters of net new opportunities for the company. BDRs fill the pipeline for Inside/Field sales reps by setting qualified meetings. Once a meeting has been scheduled, it routes to the HPE sales rep and channel reseller. The BDR role is to increase sales through cold/warm calling prospects to create continuous opportunities for HPE by educating potential customers on the HPE portfolio.

It is highly task‑oriented with strong sample KPI guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Enable sales opportunities by cold‑calling and warm‑calling prospects.
  • Schedule and set qualified meetings with potential customers.
  • Educate prospects on the HPE portfolio across data, connectivity, cloud, and security.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline for Inside and Field sales teams.
  • Route meetings to appropriate sales representatives and channel resellers.
  • Achieve target metrics such as Calls per Day, Emails per Day, and Opportunities Created/Qualified.
