The Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician (Level
3) provides critical support for field electrical maintenance operations and ensures proper electrical isolation procedures for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. This position serves as a technical resource for junior staff while performing advanced electrical maintenance tasks. The role involves assembling, testing, and modifying electrical machinery, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and implementing safety protocols. This position typically reports to a Maintenance Supervisor or Electrical Systems Manager.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and 2 technicians with complex electrical problems
• Assemble, test, and modify experimental and/or operational electrical machinery, control equipment, and circuitry according to engineering specifications
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions or failures in electrical systems and perform preventive/corrective maintenance
• Implement and enforce Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance activities
• Record detailed data on electrical systems performance and maintenance activities
• Recommend modifications or replacement of failed equipment based on technical analysis
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve electrical system reliability
• Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical maintenance activities

• 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent electrical certification
• Demonstrated experience with electrical isolation procedures and LOTO protocols
• Thorough understanding of electrical control systems, motors, and lighting systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical issues
• Effective communication skills; ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend remediation
• Team player with ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization
• Adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Electrical High Voltage Power Transmission and Distribution experience
• Electrical Dispatch Operations experience
• Experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, or GE HMI
• Functional knowledge of SeeQ Analytics Software
• Experience with Aspentech – Monarch and ABB Xenon SCADA software
• Background in Instrumentation Controls & Electrical systems

Pay: $75/hr
