JOB OVERVIEW
Reeder Distributors Inc. is looking for a skilled Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Spring, TX. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operation of our equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

If you have experience repairing shop equipment such as lifts, air compressors, reels, and oil dispensing systems, or possess a background in electrical work or maintenance, we encourage you to apply. Even if you don't have direct experience, a strong mechanical aptitude is highly valued, and we are happy to provide training.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULEThis is a full‑time, Monday through Friday position with flexibility to work overtime.
COMPENSATION- $20–25 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly.
Spring, TX
EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform service/maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems as needed.
- Automotive lifts, in‑ground and above‑ground
- Air compressors
- Air and oil reels
- Oil pumps and nozzles
- General shop equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Forklift and OSHA certification preferred (training available)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Verifiable experience/history in a related field
- Clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
- A desire to succeed and be a proactive team player
