Full-Stack Web Developer (North Houston)

Bubble Up is hiring a Full-Stack Web Developer. If you are local to the North Houston area, knowledgeable in building backends, frontends, and the APIs in between, well‑versed in Type Script and passionate about code efficiency, skilled in leveraging AI while keeping applications secure and free of AI nonsense, and able to create technical UI that maximizes end‑user experience, please join our fun team!

• Participate in the full development lifecycle from refining project requirements with clients to deploying to production and post‑production tests and maintenance.
• Build secure backends, slick and fast frontends, and efficient integrations.
• Collaborate with management, AI models, and other engineers to get the job done efficiently.
• Perform dev QA cycle, automate tests and release new project features with least risk.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers on best practices, design patterns, security and compliance.

• 6+ years in JavaScript‑based backend and frontend web development with REST and Graph
  
  QL API integrations.
• Experience building SQL and No
  
  SQL backend databases, applying efficient indexing and query optimizations (preferably AWS stack).
• Experience leveraging AI with tools like Cursor and Copilot.
• Deep knowledge of security standards and best practices to ensure proper data encoding, protection against XSS, injections, and other common web attacks.
• Experience with AWS stack is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with older PHP–based systems is necessary.
• Exceptional debugging skills.
• Must be fluent in English and able to represent the company in client‑facing meetings.
