Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations team, while ensuring continuous operation through effective and efficient oversight of personnel and equipment. The Production Supervisor will communicate with team members, management, and upper management, tracking team member performance, daily monitoring, and guidance to meet daily/weekly/monthly production goals. Ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity through up-to-date training and team member performance.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects and problem-solving as well as collaborate with leaders to resolve and manage workforce labor issues.
- Managing workflow of employees and delegating tasks.
- Assessing work performance of team members; identify areas of performance improvement.
- Training and onboarding new team members.
- Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly objectives, aligning with business plans and goals.
- Establish goals for team members.
- Support MRO daily activities.
- Create reports on daily progress and performance.
- Assist in root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Manage facility wide 5s activities.
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.).
- Ensure that all operators are following safety procedures. Develop a safety first culture.
- Communicate with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Must be able to work off shift hours as needed.
- Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operation or Business or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Module/Pack building experience preferred.
- Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.
- Organizational skills (i.e., be methodical, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross functional teams.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Excellent communication, documentation, technical and computer skills.
- Microsoft Office Experience.
- ERP Experience (Plex System Preferred).

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- May need to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead.
- Works in a temperature-controlled environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
- May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, colors on prints, and/or operate field instruments/equipment.
- May need to work overtime.
- Able to complete physically demanding work.
- May be required to travel to and navigate a variety of sites to fully understand material needs.
- Must be able to manipulate equipment for calibration and modification.
- Visual acuity to follow hand signals, maintain logs and inspect and maintain machinery.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, stoop, push, pull, stand, and carry as needed to inspect, service, and operate machinery, equipment, and gauges.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
