Production Operator; 1st shift

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking Production Operators for 1st Shift (5:00AM- 3:30PM) to join our Springboro, OH Facility.

This role involves setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure compliance with production and process specifications. The individual must report malfunctions or abnormalities and perform minor adjustments and repairs to equipment, all while adhering to safety procedures.

• 4-day, 10-hour work schedule:
  Monday-Thursday
• Starting pay: $17.50/hr

• Operate, test, and monitor assigned equipment according to established guidelines.
• Observe equipment operation and document maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate with equipment technicians regarding complex issues.
• Verify equipment data for reporting and support the installation of operating equipment.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED and 0-3 years of experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Preferred Education:
  
  Vocational/Technical Training Degree.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Strong written communication skills, ability to gather and document information, ability to lift/move heavy objects, mechanical knowledge, and safety awareness.
