Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr depending on experience
Location: Springboro
Experience: 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience

Maintenance Technician Job Duties include:

• Recognizes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment operating problems.
• Dismantles devices (electrical/mechanical) to locate and repair/replace defective parts.
• Inspects parts (used and new) to determine dimensional characteristics.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices, equipment, and control instruments.
• Starts devices/equipment to test their performance and performs machine adjustments.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, mill, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Performs basic preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Performs cleanup activities at designated times.
• Participates in improvement activities.

Maintenance Technician Preferred Skills include:

• Must be able to function in a team environment by working with and cooperating with others.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Must possess a good working knowledge of PLC and CNC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits and test equipment (e.g. multimeters, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.).
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics with the ability to troubleshoot and program.
• Knowledge of welding and simple fabrication.
• Knowledge of machine control circuits and understanding of schematics.
• Knowledge of plumbing, pumps, feed lines, PVC, CPVC, copper, and metal piping.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
