Bentonville, AR – Salary range: $80,000.00–$.

Responsibilities
  • Project Administration
    • Review the initial project schedule with the Vice President of Field Operations, Vice President of Pre‑Construction and the project team to understand details of the project plans, specifications, schedule and bid proposal.
    • Attend job‑set‑up meetings and orientate the assigned Project Superintendent(s) and/or Foremen to their specific duties.
    • Notify subcontractors and suppliers to review the project schedule.
    • Coordinate all subcontractor activities, including scheduling, submittals (materials, RFI’s, change orders, pay requests), quality control, and assist with the project submittal process.
    • Oversee submission of required company documents by Superintendents and/or Foremen.
    • Administer personnel issues of subordinates following company expectations and policies, including advising the Vice President of Field Operations of all vacations, sick leave, personal days, and leaves of absence requested from field personnel, mediation of conflicts, and communication of corporate policies and procedures.
    • Interpret and implement union trade agreements, consult regarding layoffs/termination, and monitor potential contract changes to advise the Project Manager.
    • Provide documentation and advise the Project Manager on possible claims or disputes.
    • Track production and project schedule, distribute daily production information, and keep the Project Manager informed of progress.
    • Discuss project equipment schedule projections, attend owner meetings, submit required information for pay applications, review job cost reports, and assist with formal project close‑out.
  • Project Operations
    • Monitor all daily activities of assigned projects and provide direction to Project Superintendents and/or Foremen.
    • Consult with Superintendents and/or Foremen on daily manpower, equipment, layout, materials, and subcontractor needs.
    • Coordinate daily line‑up information for all assigned projects and report to the Project Manager.
    • Coordinate with the Project Manager for field survey/engineering/GPS files.
    • Recognize equipment abuse and provide guidance to relevant personnel.
  • Project Safety and Compliance
    • Implement and comply with the company safety program, communicating concerns to the Area Safety Director.
    • Recognize and respect the designated project competent safety representative, and report all incidents/accidents promptly.
    • Complete post‑accident/incident reports and facilitate weekly toolbox talks.
    • Perform daily safety walk‑around and complete required documentation.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
  • Experience:

    At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in construction and field personnel management. Must have led 1–2 large‑scale projects (200 MM+) from start to finish as Lead Sr. Superintendent.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
    • Preparation of detailed construction plans, schedules and estimates.
    • Reading and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
    • Calculating square footage, volumes and percentages.
    • Effective oral and written communication.
    • Updating project schedules, transmittals and submittals using computer software.
    • Managing large groups of personnel and accomplishing results through subordinate levels with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

Typical physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, moving up to 50 pounds, and working in varied weather conditions. The role may require long hours, mental stress during critical project phases, and vigilance in a noisy environment.
