What You Will Do- Establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the OEM parts.
- Research how damage affects gas turbine engine component operation and develop engineering‑based solutions that return damaged parts back to service.
- Create technical documents that provide the manufacturing organization the engineering requirements for repairs.
- Interface with commercial engine program managers to secure priorities and understand how the repair affects the engine fleet.
- Support the customer in the resolution of field supportability issues.
- Ensure repair tasks are completed to schedule and on budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
- Experience using Unigraphics/NX or similar CAD application.
- Exposure to cost and schedule management or team leadership is desired.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, plating, plasma spray, welding or brazing is also desired.
Onsite:
Employees working in Onsite roles will work primarily on site, including production and maintenance functions.
Salary range: USD 82,000 – 164,000. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual incentive compensation programs depending on level and business unit coverage.
