All of those are givens, but at the core, we want that special optometrist that is both excellent in his/her care for patients, and at the same time intentional and relationship-driven with patients. We are a family owned eye clinic, and taking care of patients and our employees is everything to us.

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect any underlying eye conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses or medications as needed.
• Perform specialized tests to evaluate depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and optical principles
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and aseptic techniques
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and medical coding
• Understanding of medical terminology, particularly in the field of ophthalmology
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
