associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma

bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

direct - 2 years of experience

direct - pediatric

1 of the following certifications is required - , radiologic technologist license (rtl) - arkansas department of health

arrt – r.t.(r)(ct)(mr) - american registry of radiology technologist (arrt), certified nuclear medicine technologist (cnmt) - nuclear medicine technology certification board

• verifies exams as ordered by physician.
• demonstrates the knowledge to perform correct scan protocols in an effort to decrease radiation exposure to patients.
• demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to all radiation safety recommendations, including patient shielding. Alara
• properly administers iv and oral contrast.
• explains exams/procedures to patients and families.
• ensures that work area is properly maintained.
• keeps current of new and evolving technologies in ct.
• maintains equipment and requests service as needed.
• complies with all tjc, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
• performs other duties as assigned.
