Practice Physical Therapy With Greater Clinical Focus

At Russ Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to focus on the work that makes being a Physical Therapist rewarding.

You will
  • Complete comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations focused on mobility, strength, movement quality, pain, balance, function, and patient-specific limitations.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings, functional goals, and patient progress.
  • Use your clinical reasoning to make treatment decisions and adjust care as patients improve.
  • Build meaningful relationships with your patients throughout their full plan of care.
  • Focus on measurable functional outcomes that help patients return to work, exercise, recreation, sport, and everyday life.
  • Spend more time focused on patient care with dedicated administrative support.
  • Collaborate with experienced Physical Therapists and discuss complex cases, treatment approaches, and patient progression.
The Patients You Will Treat

You will work with a diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload that allows you to strengthen a broad range of Physical Therapy skills.

Your caseload may include
  • Active adults returning to exercise, recreation, and sport.
  • Patients recovering from orthopedic injuries.
  • Post-operative rehabilitation patients.

You will have the opportunity to work with patients through multiple stages of recovery while continuing to strengthen your orthopedic Physical Therapy expertise.

What You Will Do
  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Assess mobility, strength, balance, movement patterns, pain, function, and patient-specific limitations.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
  • Deliver evidence-based outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy.
  • Provide therapeutic exercise and progressive strengthening.
  • Use manual therapy techniques when clinically appropriate.
  • Provide neuromuscular re-education and movement retraining.
  • Progress mobility, balance, stability, and functional movement.
  • Guide patients through return-to-activity and return-to-sport programming.
  • Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients on recovery, movement, injury prevention, and self-management.
  • Help patients build confidence in their ability to move and function.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teammates to support strong patient outcomes and an excellent patient experience.
