, you’ll be the driving force behind a strong, proactive safety culture—supporting transportation, collections, recycling, and disposal teams across multiple locations.
In this dynamic role, you will design and elevate safety programs, partner closely with field operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead training, audits, and incident investigations. Your impact will directly support safer teams, stronger performance, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen compliance across OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulations
- Conduct facility and field safety audits, investigations, and root‑cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement and safety training for drivers and site personnel
- Manage driver qualification files, reporting, and safety documentation
- Partner with operations leadership to shape KPIs and elevate safety performance
- Support emergency preparedness and environmental compliance initiatives
Requirements:
- 7+ years of safety experience, including leadership
- Background in waste management, transportation, or industrial operations
- Strong regulatory knowledge and multi‑site safety program experience
- Ability to travel regionally (approx. 50%)
