* What You Will Do:

** The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a
** Machinist Technician for AWW Shift**. Shift earns 8% shift premium after training period on 1st shift. The training hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PM and permanent
** AWW shift hours are Friday-Sunday, 6:00AM to 6:30PM**.PSD is a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility. Overtime opportunity may be available, after a period of training. Pratt & Whitney PSD is an FAA regulated facility, and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment.
* Set-up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non-metallic parts.
* Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set-up requirements.
* Set-up and prepare includes:  set up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
* Operator level maintenance of machine and set up documents.
* Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, to ensure specifications are met.
* Maintain a clean work environment
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
* Previous experience/training reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and set-up requirements.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Technical trade school degree in machining
* Training to include set-up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
* 5+ years of machining experience
* 5-axis horizontal or vertical milling experience
* Experience with VTL, Lathes, and/or Mills
* FANUC Controller experience
